Velatura Balm stick Lisa Eldridge review
Velatura Balm stick Lisa Eldridge review. There are products you try once and immediately understand the intention behind them. That’s exactly what happened to me with the Velatura Balm Dewy Lip and Cheek Stick by Lisa Eldridge.

I’ve been using the shade Meeting the Ex for a few days now, and it’s one of those products that quietly becomes part of your routine without you even realizing it. It doesn’t try too hard, and maybe that’s exactly why it works.
If you want to see how it actually looks on the skin and how I apply it, I filmed a full review here

I always think textures like this make much more sense in video than in photos.
Texture
I always think textures like this make much more sense in video than in photos, and this is definitely one of those cases. The first thing I noticed is how unique the texture feels. It’s not a classic cream blush, and it’s not really a lip balm either. It sits somewhere in between and melts into the skin in a very natural way, almost disappearing while still leaving behind a soft, subtle glow.
Shade “Meeting the Ex”
The shade Meeting the Ex is the kind of color that works without effort. It’s a cool-toned, slightly blue-based pink that looks fresh without being too much. On the lips it feels very comfortable, which I personally love, and on the cheeks it gives that soft flush that doesn’t really look like blush in the traditional sense, more like your skin, just healthier and more alive.

The finish is dewy, but controlled. It doesn’t feel sticky, and it doesn’t make the skin look oily. It just catches the light in a very subtle way. If you like that natural glow makeup look, this is exactly in that direction.
I’ve mostly been applying it straight from the stick on my cheeks and blending it quickly with my fingers. On the lips, I just tap it on without overthinking it. It’s not the kind of product that requires precision, and I think that’s part of its charm. It fits into those moments when you want to look put together without spending time building a full look.
In terms of wear, it fades in a very natural way, which makes it easy to reapply without ever looking patchy.
The packaging is exactly what you would expect from Lisa Eldridge, minimal, elegant, and practical. Easy to carry, easy to use, nothing unnecessary.
Velatura Balm Dewy Lip and Cheek Stick is so good for those days when you want your skin to look fresh, your lips to look alive, and everything to feel effortless.
And honestly, those are the products I end up using the most.
